Julia Ma, DDS, FAGD
A native of San Francisco and an alumna of Lowell High School, Dr. Julia Ma completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), graduating magna cum laude. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and completed advanced training in implant and restorative dentistry through the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program at NYU Langone Dental Medicine, UCSF site.
Dr. Ma is passionate about providing gentle, high-quality dental care and helping patients feel comfortable and confident about their smiles. She has published research in international dental journals and developed oral health programs for children overseas through UCSF's Global Oral Health Program fellowship. Locally, she enjoys giving presentations and leading oral health discussions at UCSF, community events, and elementary schools.
Currently, Dr. Ma serves as an Associate Clinical Professor at the UCSF School of Dentistry. She is dedicated to lifelong learning and was honored with the Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry in 2021. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Outside the office, Dr. Ma loves spending time with her three children and exploring new hiking trails and food adventures wherever her travels take her.
